Summer is almost here soooooo....

Quick updates....... My friend Grahm the bartender at my favorite place for good old fashioned Italian food "Sam's," has now taken over the reigns from longtime owner "Tom."... sorry I don't know either last name. Anyway, Grahm plans on keeping things as they are and taking over the former "Steph's Stuff" and making it an annex to Sam's.

If you have $15,000 bucks to spare ... plan on spending 5 different nights with Prince, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, James Taylor and some other guy to help the Ross School with their "little" summer fundraiser. FINALLY.... 500 of my closest friends gathered for a sneak peek of the new movie "SHREK THE THIRD".... compliment of yours truly and some of PRUDENTIAL DOUGLAS ELLIMAN'S FINEST. So, what was the verdict!? I would say thumbs up for one of the best family flicks in a long time. Apparently most of the country agrees, "Shrek the Third" is set to become the highest grossing animated film of all time.

OK, forgive me for the cruddy picture.. but it's from my phone going at about 50 mph. But according to the NY POST the Hampton nightclub Resort is opening this summer as some sort of "French bistro/cabaret/lounge" called Flirt. Finally, life will be a cabaret for Hamptons club goers... no kareoke please! Longtime owner of the property Frank Cilione, who lives most of the time in Palm Beach, he's drafted chef Andrew Marc Rothschild, formerly of the Forge in Miami and the River Café in New York, to have the place open by Memorial Day. I drove by again just today and saw flocks of workers and various folks busting to accomplish that feat.
