GOING.... GOING.... GOING...... ALMOST GONE!

WHAT DATE IS TODAY ANYWAY?????

Well apparently the summer season has started sooner than we thought. Two separate friends of mine have told me the same thing... nearly 3/4 of the beach parking permits are already gone for the 2007 summer season! I mean it's not even APRIL!???? SO... if you need to get a a permit... these are village beaches I'm talking about... you better get in gear and go get your permit while they still have them. Last year I learned the hard way and waited til the week before Memorial Day and it was already too late. I guess I better head over tomorrow and get mine.

The permits are free for village residents and $275 dollars for non-residents (as far as I know anyway). You can get the permit by mail or go into the village town hall at 86 Main St. Here's the link for all the details;

In other news.... I'm double checked again... and it seems it's true, it's true! OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE is coming to Southampton. Isn't this the place that has the "Bloomin' Onion?" I guess this isn't such a bad thing after all!
